In the course of my career, I saw a lot of horses finish their jobs despite tack malfunctions or losing their rider. What was always most amazing was to see the horse STRATEGIZING & executing their OWN plan! Of course, losing a rider is a DQ, even when they win. :-)

Yikes! Some of those look scary as HE double toothpicks. A few times I was worried about the horses falling on their person.
I watched a few barrel racing fails yesterday - always amazed at what people walk away from.
